Dao Acupuncture - John C. J. Chen, R.Ac., L.Ac.

John Chen is a registered acupuncturist, licensed in the state of Pennsylvania and is National Board certified by the NCCAOM.

John is a graduate of the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine with training in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and Japanese Style acupuncture. While in China, John successfully completed training at the Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. There he studied and trained, in an intensive hands-on internship, with foremost Chinese physicians of the well respected Tianjin University Hospital.

His training reflects a distinctive blend of Ancient Chinese Medicine and present day alternative healing modalities. With his unique background of Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Tui na (Chinese massage) and Western body work, John integrates these modalities with acupuncture to create a holistic (body-mind-spirit) approach for individual treatment.
